Patricia Nieto is a Visiting Fellow from the University Carlos III, Department of Social Labor Law, Madrid (Spain). Her research focuses on the new forms of employee participation within an enterprise. During her stay at ILR she is very interested in studying American industrial relations because it provides a chance to take a comparative look at a distinctly different system from that of the Spanish collective law model and the European social model. On return to Spain, Patricia will be working on ways to advance new forms of employee participation through collective bargaining and human resource practices.
