Mustafa Özbilgin, United Kingdom
Mustafa Özbilgin is a Senior Lecturer in Business Management at Queen Mary, University of London. His research is in the field of comparative and cross-national employment studies, with a specific focus on issues of diversity, equality and fairness. Dr Ozbilgin has a PhD from the University of Bristol, an MA from Marmara University and a BA from Bosphorus University (curriculum vitae pdf). Although his work is informed by sociological perspectives, he enjoys working in interdisciplinary and diverse research teams. His research is published in academic journals such as Gender, Work and Organization, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Personnel Review and International Management. He has recently authored and edited three books, titled Banking and Gender (IB Tauris), Arts Marketing (Elsevier) and International Human Resource Management (Palgrave). Living in London, he enjoys theatre going and eating out. His faculty sponsor at ILR is Professor Lisa Nishii and he visited from September 2 to November 20, 2004.
