Kay Gilbert worked in trade union education and research after graduating with a masters in economics from University of London (curriculum vitae pdf). Now lecturing and researching in the Department of Human Resource Management, University of Strathclyde with a research interest in trade union organization and equal pay. Kay is on the panel of Independent Experts in equal pay appointed by the Arbitration Concilliation Advisory Service in Great Britain. Kay's faculty sponsor is Professor Pamela Tolbert. Kay will be visiting from August 28-September 28, 2005.
