Hyo-Rae Cho, South Korea
Hyo-Rae Cho is an associate professor in the Department of Sociology at Changwon National University, South Korea. He received the PhD, M.A and B.A degrees from the Seoul National University in South Korea (curriculum vitae pdf). His dissertation was on the labor movements in transition to democracy. He taught industrial sociology, political sociology and social policy at Changwon National University. His research at ILR is on the trade union's response on the social concertion and neoliberal labor policies. His faculty sponsor at ILR is Professor Lowell Turner. Cho is visiting from January 24-December 31, 2005 and his office is located at 322B Catherwood, Ives Hall.
