I entered the MILR program in September 2003 with the intention of taking a multi-pronged approach to finding a summer internship. I fully expected to conduct a rigorous independent job search in addition to participating in on-campus recruiting because I am a Canadian citizen who has relatively limited employment opportunities in the United States. Little did I know that the road to my summer internship would begin at the annual CAHRS Executive Roundtable event, just days after the start of the school year. Read entire story (pdf).
