Ga-Ma, chair of Women's Federations, visits Buffalo

Ga-Ma, chair of the Women's Federations of the Tibet Autonomous Region, visited Cornell-ILR offices in Buffalo in December. The trip to Buffalo was coordinated by Buffalo Niagara WorldConnect. While at Cornell, Ga-Ma met with ILR's Nellie Brown, Linda Donahue, Lou Jean Fleron, Pam Henderson, Susan Woods, and Art Wheaton. Discussions focused on health and safety, management programs, women in the workforce, and international projects and activities. Wheaton, together with his wife Yan Qi, later hosted a visit to their home by Ga-Ma and her interpreter, Mary Nimtz.
