ILR Professor Lowell Turner was an invited speaker at the IIRA 7th European Congress in Lisbon, Portugal, September 7-11. The 2004 conference is titled, The Future of Work in Europe: The Market and Economic and Social Cohesion. Turner will chair a special seminar, Union revitalization in comparative perspective: a five-country study.  He will also present his work on Globalization and the Logic of Participation Partnership, Mobilization, and the Renewal of the Labor Movement.
