Reciprocal Meetings on Continuing Education in Buffalo and Ireland

Irish delegation visits Upstate New York

In April of 2003 an Irish delegation arrived in Upstate New York to meet with professionals in the field of Continuing Education. Participating organizations included Cornell-ILR, represented by Art Wheaton of ILR's Institute for Industry Studies. The American delegation then traveled to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in November 2003 for the reciprocal portion of the program. The trip included visits to: Dublin City Council, Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, Dublin Institute of Technology, Athlone Institute of Technology, FAS Regional Training Center Athlone, FAS Employment Services Tullamore, Offaly County Council, Adult Education Services in County Clare, Department of Employment and Learning Belfast, Simon Community, Fermanagh College, and the University of Ulster.
