Scholarships: AFS Intercultural Programs
Application deadline is January 8, 2010
In cooperation with the US Embassy in Thailand, AFS Intercultural Programs is offering scholarships to Thailand for people who are interested in teaching English. This exciting new program will take place from approximately May 25 - October 28, 2010 to coincide with the Thai school year.
The pre-application deadline is January 8, 2010. Full applications must be completed by February 1, 2010. Applicants must be high school graduates, and some college is preferred. Interest in language learning and experience with young people a plus. The local Thai schools will offer the Teaching Assistants a cost of living stipend in addition to the room and board provided by AFS volunteers and host families.
