Labor Economics Workshop joint with Human Resources Studies:
Amanda Goodall, Visiting Fellow from the Univeristy of Warwick, will present a working paper concerning leadership and organizational performance. The longitudinal study offers some of the first evidence that a university performs better if its leader has been an accomplished scholar. Where expert knowledge is the key factor that characterizes an organization, the position is that expert knowledge should also be key in the selection of its leader.
