ILR International Roundtable

November 16, Room 225 ILR CC

IEWILR will celebrate International Education Week (IEW) on November 16th with an International Faculty & Student Roundtable. This will be the second year ILR joins other Cornell colleges in IEW, which runs November 13-17. This national event is jointly sponsored by the U.S. Departments of State and Education to recognize and promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the U.S. The Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies coordinates the IEW events and activities on campus each fall.

IEW The ILR International Faculty Roundtable invites Undergraduates and MILR students interested in an informal dialogue with ILR Faculty about their international research, courses, work/life experiences. The event is for students hoping to gain an international experience prior to graduation, aiming for an international career path, or who are on the fence about either. This will be an opportunity to meet in an informal setting to discuss how to prepare at ILR. Several ILR Faculty whose research and courses have an international focus will be at the eventSeating is limited, those interested in participating please RSVP to Dina Gabriel, MILR '07.

The event is November 16, 4:30-6:00pm, Room 225 ILR Conference Center. Refreshments with an international flare will be served.
