Leadership for Global Citizenship Workshop
Dr. Balasubramaniam (Dr. Balu), Cornell’s distinguished Frank H.T. Rhodes Class of 1956 Professor, will be teaching the Leadership for Global Citizenship workshop. Dr. Balu is a development activist, social innovator, writer, and a leadership trainer. He served as a consultant to various organizations in the fields of Health, Education, Economic development, and Governance in India and the USA. Dr. Balu is the founder of the Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement, one of India’s leading development organizations (www.svym.org), and he is the founder and executive director of the Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM).
Leadership for Global Citizenship is a 3-day workshop to be held in 111 Ives Hall from 5:00 to 8:30pm on Nov. 18, 20, and 21. This opportunity is open to all undergraduates from any major.
5-5:30pm. A light dinner will be provided every evening before the workshop begins.

Day 2. Wed, Nov. 20, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Adaptive vs. Technical Challenges and Enlightened Leadership

Working with Yourself
Note: Space is limited. Students must commit to participating in all 3 days of the workshop. This highly motivational workshop was held last year, and seats were filled up quickly. RSVP to email@example.com immediately.
From November 18-22, 2013, Dr. Balu will reside in the Hans Bethe House where he will spend much of his time with the resident undergraduates. He will also give lectures in already scheduled classes as well as for the Cornell community at large.
