In this workshop, participants will get an understanding of the many risks associated with international service projects and leave with an understanding of how to address those risks.
Topics addressed will include: Types of risks, ownership and responsibility, insurance, emergency planning, releases, contractual arrangements, and supervision. This workshop is highly recommended to all students and students leaders are planning, coordinating and leading service trips outside of the United States this coming winter and spring session.
