United Nations Trip (New York City)

Sign-up starting Wednesday, 9/14 at 1:00 p.m. in B-50 Caldwell Hall.

Take a day-trip to New York City to the United Nations, where experts will discuss important topics such as human rights, the environment, and the history, functions, and structure of the UN.  This briefing will be followed by a tour of the UN premises, after which participants will have several hours to explore NYC before boarding the buses back to Ithaca.

Cost*:  $20
*Includes round-trip bus fare and United Nations tour ticket.  Price does not include meals.  (Please note:  Students wishing to stay in NYC and not return to Ithaca on the evening of September 30 must pay the same fee).

Sign-ups start 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 9/14, at the ISSO office, B-50 Caldwell Hall on the Ag Quad.  Spaces are only reserved for those who come to the ISSO to sign up and pay the fee.  You may sign up for a friend only if you can pay for that person at the time you sign up.  PLEASE NOTE:  We accept cash or check only.  Checks should be made out to "Cornell University". If you pay with cash, please pay with exact change.

Hurry:  Only 90 seats available on first-come, first-serve basis!!
