Monitoring Freedom of Association Training Program
May 23-25, 2005, New York, NY
Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) presented a 3-day intensive training program on monitoring freedom of association in the field of international labor standards monitoring and compliance.
Developed by ILR International Programs in Ithaca and ILR's Global Labor Institute in New York City, the program was held on May 23-25, 2005 at the ILR Metropolitan Region office in midtown Manhattan.
This program aims at what one leading practitioner called the thorniest area of labor standards monitoring: freedom of association, the right to organize, and the right to collective bargaining.
This program on freedom of association provides a focused, practice-oriented treatment of standards, monitoring systems, enforcement and remediation steps, and best practices in this field. Read the full story about the training program.
