ILR School and Warwick Business School Exchange (WBS)
The ILR School and Warwick Business School at University of Warwick, UK, offer a tuition-neutral student exchange program to undergraduate students at both institutions. The two institutions collaborate to provide students with opportunities in the fields of industrial and labor relations, human resource management and organizational behavior.
The agreement was formalized on June 26, 2009 in a signing by ILR dean, Harry C. Katz and Warwick Business School Dean, Howard Thomas. The funds to initiate this exchange have been provided by the Abraham & Henrietta Brettschneider Warwick Exchange Fund, established through the generosity of ILR alumnus Michael Borkan, BS '79, in memory of his grandparents. In addition to undergraduate student exchanges, the ILR-Warwick Business School agreement seeks to stimulate collaboration of faculty and doctoral students through mini-conferences each year, facilitate research, provide research opportunities for faculty on sabbatical.
Information session on Monday, January 28, 116 Ives Hall at 5-6pm.
