ILR School signs student exchange agreement with the School of Labor and Human Resources, Renmin University of China

Dean Katz of the ILR School and Dean Xiangquan Zeng of the School of Labor and Human Resources, Renmin University of China (RUC) signed a student exchange agreement ;on December 3rd, 2012. This agreement seeks to broaden the scope of the academic curriculum and to provide a unique learning experience for undergraduate students, as well as to promote co-operation between the two institutions.

This student exchange agreement will be managed by the ILR International Programs Office, and it runs from July 1-July 31, 2013.   Interested students may also contact Donna Ramil, Associate Director of International Programs at dmr47@cornell.edu.

About the School of Labor & Human Resources, Renmin University of China

The School of Labor & Human Resources founded in October 1983, is China's top institution for educating students in labor, social security, and human resource management.  The School offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Labor Economics, Social Security, Human Resource Management and Labor Relations.

About Renmin University of China

Renmin University of China (RUC), initially began as ShanBei Public School in 1937 and gradually evolved into one of the most prestigious research universities in China in 1950. Today RUC specializes in the study of humanities and the social sciences. Major software companies in the area are Microsoft, NEC, Siemens, and others. RUC is close to historic areas such as the Old Summer Palace and the Summer Palace and high speed rail.
