ILR School and the University of New South Wales Exchange (UNSW)
Since spring 2011, the ILR School and the University of New South Wales, Australia offer a tuition neutral student exchange program to undergraduate students at both institutions. UNSW is a world-class research university with a reputation for being the leading international university in Australia. It manages a large and active exchange program with over 190 different student exchange opportunities in 32 countries. Students can go for one semester or a full-academic year, and take a wide variety of courses from across the university.
The agreement was formalized on October 13, 2010 in a signing by the Dean of the Industrial and Labor Relations School at Cornell University, Harry C. Katz and the President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of New South Wales, Frederick G. Hilmer. In addition to undergraduate student exchanges, the ILR-UNSW agreement seeks to stimulate collaboration of faculty and doctoral students through mini-conferences each year, facilitate research, provide research opportunities for faculty on sabbatical.
