The Institute for Compensation Studies 2015 Emerging Scholars Conference will be held on May 28-30, 2015 (Schedule) at Cornell University's ILR School in Ithaca, NY (Venue & Travel).

The goal of the conference is to encourage scholars in early stages of their research careers by providing an opportunity for rigorous research dialogue focusing on compensation (very broadly defined). The unique conference format will stress interactive dialogue. Participants are asked to read, prior to the conference, all the emerging-scholar papers to be presented and be prepared to engage actively in discussion with fellow emerging scholars from disciplines other than their own. A select number of senior scholars and compensation practitioners will also participate in the conference discussions. In order to promote rich conversation in this inagural year of the conference, only eight emerging scholars will be presenting their compensation-related research, but all are expected to contribute actively to the discussion.

A conference dinner will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Cornell University Physical Sciences Building. Conference attendees are welcome to invite a guest to the conference dinner.

There is no conference registration fee and room and board during the conference will be provided free of charge to all emerging-scholar attendees.
