Susan W. Brecher, Esq., Director of Legal and Employee Relations Programs in Human Capital Development at Cornell University, ILR. She currently manages learning services in Legal, Employee Relations, and EEO, including developing, designing and facilitating programs. In addition, Ms. Brecher partners with private, public, and non-profit organizations on customized training programs. During her tenure at Cornell, Ms. Brecher served as a Director of Statewide Management Programs as well as oversight of all aspects of the EEO, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Management Development and Online Learning programs. Ms. Brecher teaches in a graduate level Human Resources Program and advises, consults, coaches, handles all aspects of employment law, employee relations, internal investigations, dispute resolution issues and mediates, facilitates and conducts fact-findings. She worked at the law firm Skadden, Arps, ABC and NBC and holds a B.A. summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Union College and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, where she was on the Law Review.
David Ciliberto, Founder, David Ciliberto Enterprises, is an independent human resources consultant with over 20 years of experience in human resources. Mr. Ciliberto focuses on diversity and inclusion, learning and development, and management coaching. He has held roles at financial services firms including The Prudential, American Express, UBS, Credit Suisse and most recently HSBC, where he designed, developed, and delivered an array of professional skills training courses. Additionally, Mr. Ciliberto has worked with Lee Hecht Harrison as an outplacement counselor, and coaches private clients who are in career transition.
Lisa Csencsits, Associate Director in Human Capital Development at Cornell University, ILR, is responsible for the design, development and delivery of customized learning and capability development programs. Ms. Csencsits, as an Organizational Development Practitioner, leverages her experience working with large privately and publicly held companies, as well as her research and educational expertise to provide programs grounded in theory with practical solutions to enhance participant learning and professional development. Ms. Csencsits's expertise includes implementing effective, innovative and sustainable interventions to enhance organizational performance, individual and team development. Lisa's work has included establishing talent management processes for greater efficiency and results, delivering learning programs aimed at building strategic leadership, working alongside management and leaders to identify and define the necessary capabilities needed to perform effectively in their functions and creating unique career development opportunities to support both organizational needs and employee growth. Over the years, Lisa has also been actively involved in partnering to present and publish research in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Lisa holds a B.A. In Psychology from Adelphi University and a M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.
