The GLI convened a meeting that attracted 130 trade unionists from around the world to discuss international labor's development agenda. The meeting marked the public launch of the Global Trade Union Task Force. Unfortunately, Jose Bove was prevented from entering the U.S. at JFK Airport and was sent back to France.
