The UCLEA Northeast Regional Summer Institute for Trade Union Women
Resources: Books and Films
compiled by Donna Schulman, Librarian
Lenz Library, Cornell University dls30@cornell.edu
There is nothing like a good Summer School to whet your appetite for more. More stories, more facts, more fun. The books and films listed here are titles that students in Cornell ILR's Union Women's Studies program have found readable, interesting and helpful. Most are still in print; they can be ordered from the publisher or hopefully found in you local public, union, or extension school library. For the computer-curious: see the Labor Links page.
This is a selective list. There are many more books out there on women workers, especially in the areas of history and sexual harassment. If you have any suggestions on titles to add, I would love to hear them. To navigate through this section, click on the subject heading of the topics you wish to view.
