Open-Enrollment Courses
Our courses are open to human resource and business executives from around the world. Two-day courses are held in New York City and selected major metropolitan areas, while week-long residence courses are held on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY.
Participant Mix
Open-enrollment courses attract diverse attendees from all industries, countries and backgrounds. They draw a broad range of attendees from over 30 countries and across the United States. The majority are working at the Vice President and Senior Director/Director levels. They work in many areas: Corporate HR, Compensation & Benefits, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, and Employee/Labor Relations. Senior HR Managers, HR Managers and HR generalists comprise the next largest group of course attendees.
Class Size
ILR Executive Education courses are large enough to accommodate a wide range of participants, yet small enough to allow frequent interaction and discussions with fellow attendees and faculty leaders. With no more than 35 people in each course, it’s common to see attendees shifting seats to continue discussions while the faculty leader navigates the room answering questions, giving immediate feedback and providing guidance.
