Executive Education

Current Course List

Our open-enrollment HR development courses are focused on building the strategic competency and business leadership of HR professionals.  To that end, we offer two in-depth programs, each geared to a unique audience.

The first is appropriate for mid- to senior-level HR executives who currently work in business partner or corporate roles, as well as for line executives making the transition to an human resource leadership position.  The second is a nomination-only program for HR executives identified by their senior HR officers as having potential to step into a senior HR officer role in the next few years.  Below are links to more details on each program, as well as selected comments made by a previous attendee about their course experience.

HR Strategy: Creating Competitive Advantage through People

September 15-19, 2008 | Cornell University, Ithaca, NY

The program was excellent. It really brought everything together for me. It articulated and confirmed some of the practices I am currently employing, and gave me direction for significant improvement.  It really highlighted the difference between Business Partnership and Leadership.  I have already begun to change the focus of my department.

Understanding the Top Seat: The Modern CHRO Role & Strategies for Success

Upcoming Program | Nov. 5-6, 2008 and April 2009 | New York, NY

“To me, the willingness of the CHROs to come in and candidly discuss their personal development, challenges of the job and openly talk about the mistakes they have made was extremely valuable. What a great opportunity to learn what is required of the modern CHRO from the source!”
