The Power of Social Capital
How to Move Your Business Forward
Friday, July 22, 2011, 8:00 – 9:45 a.m.
Putney Twombly Hall & Hirson LLP – 521 Fifth Ave., New York, NY
In this highly interactive program, participants will:
- Understand the value of developing and managing their social networks to facilitate business growth and sustainability
- Gain some practical tips and techniques for improving and leveraging their own networks to advance their business.
Leveraging research on social networks, we will look at both the “what” (the structure) and the “how” (the mindset and skills) of effective network management. We will examine both online and offline social interactions and address important, strategic network activities, including reputation management and stakeholder engagement. Participants will explore ways to develop and leverage their networks for business growth and identify specific actions they can take forward following the session.
