Indicator: Career counseling services are provided to each student.

All Special Education students in grades 11 and 12 have met with the transition coordinator, and special education teacher. In addition, the guidance counselors have met with each special education student regarding graduation requirements, and vocational planning, i.e., some students are involved in BOCES vocational training programs. College selection and applications were part of this process.

The strategy has been to involve the students and parents through personalized and individualized conferences. In addition, staff has been continually updated through scheduled faculty meetings and administrative counsel meetings.
