District staff and Transition Specialist will coordinate training for parents at the High School and in the community. Parent will also receive a directory of community services.

Coordinate and host a Dine & Discuss event for parents and students regarding transition topics sponsored by Parent Network, University at Buffalo MTP and Cheektowaga MTP. Event will be held at Holiday Inn-Airport. Event will include an agency fair and presentations by UB, Parent Network and Neighborhood Legal Services.

Transition Team and MTP staff will meet to discuss family involvement in trainings. The team will review parent needs designated on surveys and will discuss topics for future trainings based upon these needs.
