Valerie is a Project Coordinator for the National Employer Technical Assistance Center which provides support to employers in the recruiting, hiring and retention of individuals with disabilities. In addition to program coordination, Valerie has experience in user-focused research for technology development, web-based user testing, development of e-content; and program marketing and evaluation.

Valerie joined EDI in 2009 as a Technical Assistance Specialist for the Model Transition Program (MTP) Evaluation, a study of sixty school-community collaborations across New York State focused on identifying effective career development practices. She provided technical assistance to participating MTP schools/organizations and internal research support for the project.

Her prior experience includes assisting with neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents as a psychometrician at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and work with community agencies around issues of mental health service delivery for children and adults.
