Valerie joined Cornell University’s Employment and Disability Institute (EDI) in March 2009, as a part of the Model Transition Project (MTP). She provides technical assistance to participating MTP schools/organizations as well as internal research support for the project.

Valerie's prior experience includes assisting with neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents as a psychometrician at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and work with community agencies around issues of mental health service delivery for children and adults. Her primary interests center around developmental and neurocognitive disorders in children, adolescents and young adults; especially as relate to educational planning and outcomes.
