Erika joined Cornell University's Employment and Disability Institute (EDI), School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University in April 2008. She offers administrative and research support to the STATS RRTC project.

Erika has prior experience working at the Peace Corps Headquarters as a press relations assistant; congressional lobbying and serving as spokesperson for Break the Cycle, a domestic violence prevention not-for-profit. Erika currently serves as an advisory board member for the Liz Claiborne 'Love is Not Abuse' campaign that works to prevent teen dating violence.
