During this two-day event, you will learn about important legislative and policy updates and more about some of the recent issues that have been emerging in the disability field. During this professional development opportunity, you will have a chance to discuss these important topics with our faculty and with fellow participants. HRCI and CRCC credits will be offered and real-time Spanish translation will be provided in Puerto Rico.
Please Note: We are holding the same event on St. Thomas, St. Croix, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Please register for the event that is most convenient for you. Remember to register for one event only! Register Early! These sessions fill up quickly and registration will be on a first come/first served basis. Attendance at this event is free. However, if you register for the event but are unable to attend, you MUST cancel by 4 PM on Friday, February 1, 2013 by notifying Katie Steigerwalt at kms342@cornell.edu or calling 607-255-8660. If you register and do not attend, you will be charged a $200 fee, as we will have a waiting list of people who wish to attend if you choose not to.
Refreshments: Coffee and Tea will be provided each morning and a working lunch will be provided on both days. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer snacks at break or breakfast foods due to restrictions imposed by our funding agency, so please plan accordingly.

Durante esta oportunidad de desarrollo profesional usted podrá discutir estos importantes temas con nuestros profesionales y los demás participantes.

Por favor, regístrese para el evento que sea más conveniente para usted. ¡Recuerde registrarse en un solo evento! ¡Recuerde registrarse temprano! Estas sesiones se llenan rápidamente y el registro será por orden, según se vayan registrando. Este evento es libre de costo. Sin embargo, si usted se registra para el evento pero no puede asistir, DEBERA cancelar en o antes de las 4PM (5PM hora de Puerto Rico) del 1 de febrero de 2013, notificándole a Katie Steigerwalt a kms342@cornell.edu o llamando al 607-255-8660. Si usted se registra y no asiste, se le cobrará un cargo de $200, ya que tendremos una lista de espera de personas que desearán asistir si usted decide no hacerlo.
Refrigerios: Se proveerá café y té cada mañana, y un almuerzo con adiestramiento será provisto ambos días. Desafortunadamente, no podemos ofrecer refrigerios en los recesos, ni desayuno, debido a restricciones impuestas por la agencia que nos provee los fondos, así que por favor planifique de acuerdo con esto.
