1. The Path planning process starts looking at the current reality for the focus person and projects the plan from that point.

2. There are eight steps to the planning tool.

3. Path intentionally creates a tension between the desired future of the focus person and the current picture.

4. The Path process requires a group of people to meet for the purposes of planning. After the planning process is completed the work of the group is over.

5. The PATH process can be easily facilitated by one highly skilled person.
