Advancing the Profession

Working collaboratively with the division of the National Rehabilitation Association dedicated to Disability Benefits Specialists, NABWIS is partnering in research to develop national standards and competencies for the field along with possible future pursuit of a national certification
NABWIS, in its pursuit of advancing the profession, will work collaboratively with other organizations that are establishing accreditation standards.

Legislative Advocacy

NABWIS is instrumental in assuring that the benefits and work incentives perspective is incorporated into pending legislation before Congress as well as actively supporting reauthorization of legislation that supports the field.
