About Us

The National Association of Benefits and Work Incentive Specialists (NABWIS) is comprised of the many and varied professionals providing assistance to individuals who receive disability benefits.

Our Objectives

Facilitate a national listserv and news group
Organize congresses, conferences, seminars and courses of instruction
Support the formation and development of state chapters for the promotion of the economic well being of people with disabilities through knowledge regarding benefits and work incentives.
Cooperate with other organizations, both governmental and voluntary, including organizations of people with disabilities, in improving the economic status of people with disabilities
Ensure the participation of people with disabilities in the activities and governance of the organization
Provide educational services and technical assistance and other services compatible with the purposes of the organization
