Lecture, PowerPoint presentation and written materials will guide participants through the complex maze of rules and regulations controlling the SSI program. Special knowledge will be gained concerning just how to deal with crises when they erupt. Online polling will be used to test participant knowledge. A preparatory reading assignment will be provided and is required.
The trainer will discuss with municipal employees the five titles of the ADA, and how it apply to their work.
The trainer will discuss the responsibilities and incentives for employers to hire people with disabilities under the ADA and PR Laws, and the importance of sensitivity in this process.
The trainer will discuss with INSEC’s employees the five titles of the ADA, including how to file a complaint under each of it.
Through the use of PowerPoint, lecture and written materials, participants will gain information that will assist SSDI beneficiaries who wish to return to work at any level of activity.
