ADA New Regulations & Emerging Issues: San Juan, PR
During this two-day event, you will learn about important legislative and policy updates and more about some of the recent issues that have been emerging in the disability field. During this professional development opportunity, you will have a chance to discuss these important topics with our faculty and with fellow participants. HRCI and CRCC credits will be offered and real-time Spanish translation will be provided in Puerto Rico.
Please Note: We are holding the same event on St. Thomas, St. Croix, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Please register for the event that is most convenient for you. Remember to register for one event only! Register Early! These sessions fill up quickly and registration will be on a first come/first served basis. Attendance at this event is free. However, if you register for the event but are unable to attend, you MUST cancel by 4 PM on Friday, February 1, 2013 by notifying Katie Steigerwalt at kms342@cornell.edu or calling 607-255-8660. If you register and do not attend, you will be charged a $200 fee, as we will have a waiting list of people who wish to attend if you choose not to.
Refreshments: Coffee and Tea will be provided each morning and a working lunch will be provided on both days. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer snacks at break or breakfast foods due to restrictions imposed by our funding agency, so please plan accordingly.
