The Citizen-Centered Leadership Development Community of Practice series is a unique combination of self-paced distance learning study, robust field work, interactive class assignments and live webcast instruction designed to advance theoretic and skill-based learning leading to quality outcomes in the lives of people with disabilities.
A presentation on the aging workforce will be made to 200-250 chief diversity officers and other attendees.
Lecture, PowerPoint presentation and written materials will guide participants through the complex maze of rules and regulations controlling the SSI program. Special knowledge will be gained concerning just how to deal with crises when they erupt. Online polling will be used to test participant knowledge. A preparatory reading assignment will be provided and is required.
Through the use of PowerPoint, lecture and written materials, participants will gain information that will assist SSDI beneficiaries who wish to return to work at any level of activity. Proper planning and information is critical to this effort and participants will gain the knowledge necessary to help ease this transition. Online polling will be used to test participant knowledge.
