The TASH Conference is the advocacy, networking and educational event of the year and brings together stakeholders from all aspects of the community. For 37 years, this conference has attracted leading experts and advocates on issues impacting the disability community. This year's theme "So Many Answers Left Unquestioned" challenges us to confront the way systems work, the way programs are funded, the long-held beliefs shared by professionals, who gets to decide what, and other elements in the support web for people with disabilities, and hold them up to the scrutiny she suggests. If what is provided is not helpful, not valuable to the person, and not leading to what he/she wants in life, what is the point? This theme challenges us to think deliberately about answers that should be questioned, and questions that should be continually asked.
