90 Minute Workshop at ACL Conference

Second in series of intensive trainings for pilot test of Customized Employment 'Discovery' component.

The Social Security Administration (SSA), CESSI, the Ticket to Work Program Manager for Recruitment and Outreach (PMRO), and MAXIMUS, the Ticket to Work Operations Support Manager, collectively invite you to participate in a Ticket to Work Training webinar for focused on transition and operation support for new and inactive Employment Networks (ENs). The webinar will provide a general overview and update on the Ticket program, the operations and technical supports available to ENs, the Federal government hiring initiative, and the basics of foundation grants as seed funding for non-profit ENs. The learning objectives for this webinar include: • Gain a deeper understanding of the current advantages to taking Tickets, the current payment structure, available resources for ENs and beneficiaries, and the safety net the Ticket program provides for beneficiaries; • Learn about transition services, operational support, and ongoing technical assistance to ensure new ENs attain their Ticket performance objectives; • Attain an increased awareness of the Federal government hiring initiative; and • Understand the basics of foundation grants as source of funding and learn where to locate the grant application materials.
