The Central Western New York Business Leadership Network (CWNY BLN) would like to introduce "Addressing Disabilities Series". This program is a free service to members of the National Business Leadership Network and promotes Human Resource practices that focus on the recruiting, hiring and retaining individuals with disabilities. The program will also give us the opportunity to share hiring successes and challenges in hiring individuals with disabilities.

The Central Western New York Business Leadership Network (CWNY BLN) is committed to increasing the employment of people with disabilities in Central New York. In a business friendly environment, members are invited to ask questions about working with people with disabilities and to share management strategies. CNY BLN includes Cornell University's Office of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion and the Northeast ADA Center.
Finding, developing, and retaining a skilled workforce is the most challenging aspect of today's human resource development. More than simply an issue of legal compliance, a disability-inclusive workforce could present your business with a significant competitive advantage.
Like its national organization (www.usbln.org), the Central/Western New York Business Leadership Network (CNY BLN) shares best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retaining individuals with disabilities. BLN members recognize that integrating individuals with disabilities into the workforce gives organizations a competitive advantage.
