Harry S. Truman Scholarship
This scholarship provides $30,000 for graduate school to students committed to
a career in public service. It supports a wide variety of fields that can lead
to public service careers: labor relations; government; history; women's studies;
education; economics; public health; policy analysis; engineering; environmental
management; agriculture.
To be eligible, you must be a US citizen or national in the junior class with
a minimum GPA of 3.5. You must demonstrate a sustained record of public and community
service and evidence of leadership through class work, participation in student
or community organizations, or through work experience.
ILR students Jonathan Adler, '00, and Betsy Cooper, '04, both became Truman Scholars.
