I interned in Labor Relations at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL during the Fall 2007 semester.
As a labor relations intern I created presentations on the level and history of union activity at Walt Disney World, independently administered the unemployment claims process, and researched case precedent for upcoming contract negotiations or union-management meetings.
The internship affirmed that I would like to pursue a JD and work in the field of labor and employment law. In addition, I was able to meet with several persons pursuing that path and am still in contact with those people to this day.
