The primary responsibility of the HR department at Hess is to contribute to business goals and execute company strategy.  We accomplish this by recruiting, supporting, managing, rewarding & developing organizational talent.

Our Corporate HR department, located in NYC, is seeking an intern during the fall to provide process support in various generalist responsibilities, including year-end compensation and performance reviews, and monthly lunch-and-leaves.  You will coordinate and execute employee events, gather and analyze data in current projects, and become involved in the department's plans for development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Year-End Compensation & Year End Performance Review processes
  • Foster interface with the Employee Activity Committee by sitting in on meetings and assisting with events
  • Coordinate monthly lunch-and-learn events
  • Provide generalist HR support to a number of client groups
  • Analyze current HR tem projects and provide ad-hoc assistance in other HR team initiatives
