Dolin, Thomas & Solomon LLP, the Employment Attorneys, is a law firm with more than 30 years collective experience representing clients in all aspects of the employment relationship. Our clients call on us to litigate significant employment claims, such as employment discrimination, sexual harrassment, breach of contract, unpaid wages, and employee benefits. We also provide advice to clients in non-litigation matters, including negotiating severance agreements, employment contracts, and convenants-not-to-compete. The firm is committed to handling the employment claims of individuals and we regularly represent both individuals and employers. The firm employs 10 individuals including 2 paralegals to assist in the running of our business.
The intern will work directly under the supervision of the 5 attorneys and/or the paralegals in the office. The intern will assist in the drafting of EEOC charges and affidavits, federal complaints, discovery documents including interrogatories, document requests and requests for admissions. The intern will also assist in the interviewing of clients and witnesses, and will assist in the gaqthering of documents and other evidence in support of our clients. The intern will research news articles, corporate filings, etc. regarding opposing parties involved in litigation with our clients. The intern will also research case law regarding specific employment law topics relevant to our cases. The intern will have full access to attend and assist at depositions, Rule 16 scheduling conferences in Federal Court, oral arguments in Federal Court and all settlement negotiations.
