Michael Kay

As an undergraduate at Cornell, Michael Kay was introduced to Conflict Resolution Studies in a course on negotiation taught by Professor Lipsky. His plans to work in Conflict Resolution began in that class and have solidified since, aided by working full time after graduation as Assistant to John Bickerman, a mediator and arbitrator, President of Bickerman Dispute Resolution, PLLC.

In the past few years, Michael has studied Mandarin Chinese, first with Cornell’s FALCON (Full-year Asian Language Concentration) program, and then in Taipei at National Taiwan University. He is currently enrolled at New York University School of Law with the intention of building a career involving negotiation.
