This workshop is designed to introduce union and management representatives to concepts and problems with the use of evidence in handling grievance and during arbitration. In "demystifying" the rules of evidence, students will learn how to evaluate reliable from unreliable evidence, deal with the foundational issues of relevance, hearsay, burdens and quantum of proof, and how to properly introduce documents into evidence.
