Message from David Lipsky, Director

Conflict resolution is an expanding field of professional practice.  The Scheinman Institute taps into the breadth and depth of talent at the ILR School and Cornell University to provide our students and clients with the very best programs in the field.

We take our mission of "educating the next generation of neutrals" seriously and work closely with students to develop their professional skills.  We also help organizations--companies, unions, government agencies--design, implement, and assess their dispute resolution systems with cutting-edge research and training.

An important objective of the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution is to promote diversity in the practice of dispute resolution.  In fulfilling its mission of educating the next generation of neutrals, the Scheinman Institute seeks to achieve equal opportunities for individuals interested in entering the neutral professions without respect to race, gender, religion, national origin, or sexual preference.
