Career Change and Job Search Assistance

A student speaks with a recruiter at an ILR Career FairJust because you've graduated doesn't mean that you no longer have need for career assistance. The career development process is ongoing throughout a worklife, as individuals decide to change jobs, shift career focus, continue their education, or move to a new part of the country or world.

The OCS Director and advising staff are available to provide job-search advice via phone consultations  when available. Using our database of alumni organized by employer, job title, and location, we can also often provide names of other alumni for you to approach for career-related information and networking.

You may also be interested in identifying contacts with employers who have been to campus for on-campus recruiting. We make this information available online through our searchable Employer Business Cards database.

One of the benefits of membership in the Alumni Association is receipt of and online access to the weekly ILR Alumni Bulletin, which includes postings of ILR-related positions for which employers are targeting candidates with some experience in the field.
