Career Fields
ILR prepares students for a wide variety of jobs at top-notch organizations. While ILR is considered a strong pre-law program and a portion of our students attend law school, a majority enter employment following graduation. Many of our students pursue careers in the "traditional" ILR fields such as human resources, labor relations, professional union work (labor), and human resources consulting, while others pursue their interests in financial services and investment banking, business and consulting, teaching, public service, research, policy, and a variety of career fields.
