Social Justice Career Fair
Each spring, the Social Justice Career Fair brings to campus representatives from many advocacy organizations, including labor unions, nonprofits, worker centers, and NGOs. Employers share information about their career fields, organizations, and often employment opportunities for ILR and Cornell students. The Fair is held in conjunction with the ILR School's celebration of Union Days, a three-day event that brings over 20 labor leaders to ILR to engage in multiple panels, presentations, and informal discussions with students.
The 21st Annual Social Justice Career Fair will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the ILR Conference Center from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Social Justice Career Fair is open to all Cornell students. It provides a forum for students to learn about potential job and internship opportunities, career paths, and organizations, as well as network with employers. Students may register and view current employer attendees through Handshake. We encourage you to take advantage of resources to research organizations, update or create resumes, and make the best first impression; be sure to connect with your college's career services office for more information. Employers may register online through Handshake. There is no registration fee, and lunch is provided before the Fair.
Representatives are encouraged to bring materials, visual pieces, and information about any summer or full-time employment opportunities; registration includes a 4' table. If you have any openings for internships or full-time positions, please post them on Handshake.
